- A term for when one's gender is connected to a fictional character(s), a fictional species, or an object, setting, or concept from a work of fiction. It also includes genders that are based on or come from a work of fiction. It can be both used as an umbrella term for a subgroup of xenogenders, or as a standalone term. - Ezgender's Google Docs, 2021[2]
In the 2014 definition, fictigender was specified to be only for fictionkin. Since the coining of the term, this has expanded, and a great number of fictigender identities may not be kingenders.
