Anie-
Anie- or anie_ is a set of xenogenders for nonhuman headmates in systems who, due to being nonhuman, do not identify with human gender and instead may use a form of proximal genders.

History
The anie- genders were coined by Tumblr user xeno-aligned on July 14, 2019. The terms are comparable to xenobinary/xenononbinary but were intentionally coined to be explicitly for nonhuman headmates.[1] Flags for the terms based on a transspecies flag were coined August 12 2019.[2]
Soon after, the creator of the transspecies flag, vagabond-sun on Tumblr, replied to the flag coining to voice its discomfort with his motifs being used and linked without its consent, and asked if the flags could be changed.[3] xeno-aligned agreed, though no replacement flags have been made since.
