Applesharkcatgender is a xenogender and subset of catgender connected to apples, cats, and sharks, or a gender connected to apples carved into the shape of sharks and cats.
Etymology
The term uses the words "apple", "shark" and "cat" in reference to its connection to cats, apples and sharks, and suffixed by the word "gender".

Applesharkcatgender was coined on November 10th, 2021 by Tumblr user gendermerchant by the request of an anonymous user going by "romeo anon". The coining post also contains a link to an instructional video on how to carve sharks out of apples.

The applesharkcatgender flag was created by its coiner at the time of coining and has six horizontal stripes. The first stripe is navy blue, the second blue, the third wavy and light blue, the fourth wavy and light green, the fifth green, and the sixth dark green.
