Bookgender is a gender only felt when reading books, or in some way connected to books. The suffixes -velic may be used for Bookgenders.

History

Showgender was originally coined by Just-A-MOGAI-Blog in 2019[1], however it was recoined by The Icarus System on the LGBTA wiki in April of 2021.[2]
