Devilgender is a gender identity for neurodivergent individuals (neurogender) that is connected to devils, demons, and evil itself. It is also the opposite of Angelgender. It can be a gender based in religion or based in media, as long as it's based around devils or anything evil.
Not to be confused with Demongender.
Devilboy
Devilboy is a gender identity when one identifies as devilgender and a male or masculine-aligned gender. For example, one can identify as devilgender and also be demiboy at the same time. One can also identify as a solarian and devilgender at the same time, or any other masculine-aligned gender.
Devilgirl
Devilgirl is a gender identity when one identifies as devilgender and a female or feminine-alligned gender. For example, one can identify as Devilgender and also be a demigirl at the same time. One can also identify as gxrl and be devilgender at the same time, or any other feminine-aligned gender.
Deminonbinary
Devilnonbinary or Devilby is a gender identity when one identifies as devilgender and any non-binary gender at the same time. For example, one can be bigender and have devilgender as one of the genders that they identify as. One can also identify as genderfluid and have devilgender as one of their genders.
Demidevilgender
Demidevilgender is an identity for those partially connected to devilgender. For example, one may feel 60% devilgender and 40% catgender.
History
Devilgender, Devilgirl, Devilboy, and Devilnonbinary was coined by the user Boredomisdead on December 13th, 2020. It was coined on the same day as Nightmaregender.
Demidevilgender was coined on December 14th, 2020 by user Guns Før Hands.
Flag
The devilgender flag was coined on the same day by the same person. It has a total of seven stripes. The purple stripes represent evil, black represents mystery, and the pentagram is a common symbol in Satanism. The flag was rotated 180 degrees by user VoidwyrmGaming because the pentagram was upside down.
The devilgirl and devilboy flags were coined by a user going by Artemis on December 13th, 2020. They were also rotated by user VoidwyrmGaming because the pentagrams were upside down.
The devilnonbinary flag was coined by user Clear.Skyes on December 13th, 2020. The meaning of this flag is unknown.
The demidevilgender flag was coined on December 14th, 2020 by user Boredomisdead. The dark red stripes represent the devil; The gray-ish red stripes represent evil; the light red stripe and upside down pentagram represent Satanism; And the black cheveron represents a partial connection to gender.
The Devilgender, Devilboy, and Devilgirl flags were edited into a higher resolution by Tumblr user digicoinz on May 21, 2021.[1] They also made a slightly different version the Devilnonbinary/Devilby flag.
