Fluidflux was coined on August 26, 2014 by tumblr user Genderabbit who submitted the term to MOGAI-archive, crediting trigenby for helping. Purrloinsucks, a tumblr blog that archived posts from MOGAI-archive, has a reblog of the original coining post.^[1]
