Freakshowgender is a neurogender related to circus and clown aesthetics in a similar way to circusgender, circuscoric and clowncoric, though feels less bright or clear in comparison. It feels scary yet fun and somewhat unclear and additionally holds a relation to clowns and circuses, though in a dark way. The term is meant for neurodivergent people who do not perceive gender in the same fashion as neurotypical people and rejects societal norms, reclaiming and repurposing ableist stereotypes meant to degrade neurodivergent people.

Etymology

The term comes from the root words freak show, suffixed with the popular gender suffix -gender.
