The first furfluid flag

Furfluid is a fluid gender that changes like moulting fur through the seasons. Many mammals naturally shed and regrow their coats for the colder months to have a thicker coat to keep them warm, and lose some of that fur as it gets warmer to stay cool during summer. The fluidity of this gender may feel like a gradual change over time, and it may also feel patchy and blotchy, with some parts of the gender changing while others take longer.

History

Furfluid was coined on or before November 14, 2020 by the Tumblr blog genderstalgia. The flags were released at the same time. The term furflux was also coined in the post.
