History

It is unclear where the term "-in-nature" to describe qualities of gender originated. Mentions of "FFIN" and "MMIN" to refer to female-feminine-in-nature and male-masculine-in-nature date back to at least 2014[2]. Mentions of "AIN" to refer to aporagender-in-nature date back to at least 2018[3], and "FIN" for feminine-in-nature to 2017.[4]
