Hyumogu is a gastrogender connected to tiny and cute animals, being cute, sweets, candies, desserts, pastel colours and a general sweetness and cuteness.

Etymology

The term comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia hyu hyu, written in hiragana as ひゅーひゅー, which represents the sound one makes when seeing something cute (similar to aww in English.) It also comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia mogu mogu, written in hiragana as もぐもぐ, representing the sound one makes when chewing.
