Nemuiflux is when one doesn't have a gender when they are sleepy/tired, but has one when they aren't as tired, or aren't tired at all. For example, when one is tired they will feel agender, but when they aren't tired they will feel like a demiboy. Nemuiflux can be considered a subset of genderflux.

History

The term was coined by Lovenderr on the LGBTA Wikia on February 12th, 2021.

Etymology

Nemui comes from the Japanese word for sleepy, and flux means to fluctuate.

The nemuiflux flag was designed by wiki user Rainbowraven96 (now Reign of the breadsticcs) on February 13, 2021, and the green spectrum overlaid by a sleepy moon represents the agender spectrum in relation to feeling tired
