Velaurian
Velaurian refers to someone who is both a lesbian and a veldian. This may be at the same time, or moving between the two. It is similar to mesque, with the only primary difference being that mesque is inherently mspec, whereas velaurian may not be.
Etymology
The term velaurian comes from the words âveldianâ and âaurora". This refers to both the term veldian and the aurora lesbian flag, both of which were used to make velaurian.

"Velaurian: A term for someone who is both veldian/turian and a lesbian.
Someone who is velaurian might change between the two (such as genderfluid and omnique people), may be both at the same time (such as bigender etc. people), may identify with both due to being a system, may be abrosexual, or any other reason for identifying with both labels. History
Velaurian, and its flag, was created by Tumblr user kenochoric on May 27th, 2021.[1] It was created to be a fusion of both veldian and lesbian, with the original flag taking from both the aurora lesbian flag and veldian flag respectively. Alternative flags were made shortly after, with the original veldian flag being replaced by the ocean/wintergreen veldian flag.
A subset of velaurian, valae velaurian (also called valaen, or valaemoric) was created on August 28th, 2021[2]. It was created to be a velaurian equivalent to lilae lesbian and violae veldian.
Due to recoining issues, the creator has since stated to not redefine velaurian to be synonymous with other ones, namely fagdyke, due to the creator never intending for these terms to necessarily/always mean the same thing[3]. While someone may identify with both terms, he has asked for them to not be conflated as the same.
